The will of the people.
Our will be done, that is what we all want and to get near to that illusion we have something that is called a Democracy. This means the will of the people.
What it means is that in most countries they have a system in which the people can elect someone to represent them at the highest form of peoples representation, the Government.
Most people have a fair system were the largest party will form a Government but who can be sent packing if they fail to deliver.
In other less democratic countries the vote is deluded to give a free hand on deciding who will be elected if the votes are close together, the US has such a system, were the people can vote. The electorate man of the State decide who will be elected, not the people, the peoples vote only counts if there is a absolute majority.
However, even then it is possible to rule otherwise.
Other Countries have first past the pole system were the result is that the minority will win a election. It also means in both systems that a failing Government cannot sent packing, it has full power to ignore the wishes of the people.
It also means that the parliament has no means to sent the Government home then only in certain severe circumstances. This does mean that a Government although only representing the minority of the population can take all the decisions also those who affect the majority although this is against the will of the people.
However, a Government who inflict his power on the majority of the population, while having only a minority mandates is in fact a dictatorial Government. It is also possible that in those countries an unselected head of state can rule and take the decision although not being elected as head of state, this also means a dictator.
It will be obvious that such states are in fact dictatorship.
Most people will not understand or do not want to understand or to know this. The title of dictator is therefore only mentioned if it concerns a state that is not in line with their state. However, such a head of state and parliament can be elected in full terms of a democracy, it is still labeled as a dictator as that suits their own head of state who is in fact just such a dictator.
In fact, every country that is ruled by a minority elected head of state is in fact a dictator as the will of a minority is passed on to the majority to obey.
Although those states call themselves a democratic state, there are in fact not that, as the will of the people in majority is not adhered too.
Some states have overcome such an unbalance situation to create referendums, to that the majority wish will be followed however small.
It is therefore that in most countries a system of dictatorship is in charge and then is called a democracy although the democratic rules are ignored.
The wished of the people in such states are almost never listened to as it is based on a popular leader and a rhetorically kind of speeches to persuade the people to vote for that popular leader, such a leader will then be elected, on his visibility and rhetoric. The wishes of the people are put to the side, as the main priority is to win on whatever costs. Changing promises and accepting wishes impossible to keep, even changing of religion is known to be used to get the vote.
